As we come to the end of another fantastic season, I would like to take a moment, on behalf of everyone at the club, to thank all of the players, coaches, volunteers, parents, sponsors, and supporters who have made this year such a success.
This season has been one of real progress and positivity for our club. With teams representing us across the age groups, we have continued to grow both on and off the pitch. While we are proud of the results, performances, and achievements throughout the season, what stands out most is the spirit, commitment, and enjoyment shown by all of our players.
From the beginning, our objective has been clear — to make football and sport accessible for all children in our community, regardless of ability or background. I am delighted to say that this season we have made significant strides in achieving that goal. Seeing so many young people playing, developing confidence, making friendships, and enjoying being part of a team has been the club’s greatest success.
Our coaches and volunteers deserve enormous credit for the time, energy, and passion they give every single week. Grassroots football simply does not happen without dedicated people willing to support young players and create positive experiences for them. Thank you also to our parents and guardians for your continued encouragement and support throughout the season.
Most importantly, thank you to our players. Your effort, attitude, teamwork, and enthusiasm make this club what it is. Whether winning, losing, or learning, you have represented the club brilliantly all season.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to growing the club, developing opportunities for more people to get involved in sport, and continuing to build a welcoming, inclusive environment for everyone. With the start of our open age womens team, new u7s and u8s team and additions to our girls section, we see an exciting future ahead. The hard work starts now behind the scenes to get ready for 2026/27 season and we are all looking forward to seeing everyone back next season.
