There was another milestone for our club on Friday as we held the inaugural training session for our first ever women’s first team.
An amazing 20 players turned up for our introductory session.
The match was played at a high intensity and we’re excited to see how this group gel over the next few weeks as they prepare to play next season.
“We were taken aback by the numbers that came along to our first session,” said Gavin Jones, our club chairman.
“We’re entering the unknown and we can’t wait to see this group bond and begin to form a squad that can be strong on and off the pitch.”
